TSA-Certified Indirect Air Carrier

TSA Compliance

MMC Logistics is a TSA-approved Indirect Air Carrier (IAC) based in Miami, Florida. This page explains, in plain language, what that means for our partners and for the packages they send us.

What is an Indirect Air Carrier?

An Indirect Air Carrier is a freight forwarder approved by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to move cargo to airlines for air transportation. Airlines and customs authorities look for this approval from the forwarders that hand them freight, and it is the credential MMC Logistics holds.

What this means for your packages

Every package is screened, documented, and handled to U.S. aviation security standards. Here is the path a package takes:

  • Your client shops at any U.S. online store and ships to the dedicated MMC Miami address you give them.
  • The package is received and registered at our Miami facility.
  • Packages are consolidated and dispatched by air cargo through our airline contracts with DHL, LATAM, Avianca, Amerijet, and UPS Air Cargo.
  • Your team clears customs at destination and delivers to your client.

Our team

Every team member is background-checked and TSA-trained. Your cargo is handled by professionals who meet federal security standards.

Why it matters to partners

Working with an approved Indirect Air Carrier gives your business the federal compliance credentials that airlines and customs authorities require, and helps protect your reputation and your clients’ shipments on every flight.

Where we operate
